Ola Electric introduced its new lineup of electric bikes called the Roadster at its Sankalp 2024 event on 15th August
Ola Electric, India’s leading EV Two-wheeler company showcased its brand-new lineup of electric motorcycles on 15th August. Ola’s new motorcycle is named Roadster and will be available in three different variants according to the price and specifications.
The entry-level model will be called the Roadster X, the mid-spec model will be called the Roadster and the top-spec model will be called Roadster Pro. Each bike will offer more performance and ride quality with more features and quality as you go above the price ladder. Bookings for the Ola Roadster Pro’s 8 kWh variant are now open and deliveries will commence in Q4 FY26.
Ola Roadster X
The entry-level Ola Roadster X will offer a configuration system similar to that of the brand’s S1X electric scooter. It will be available in 2.5kWh, 3.5kWh, and 4.5kWh battery packs starting from ₹74,999 for the base-spec model, ₹84,999 for the mid-spec model, and ₹99,999 for the top-end model (all prices are ex-showroom). Performance-wise, the Roadster X can achieve a top speed of up to 124 Km/h and offers a driving range of 200 Km. It packs a powerful electric motor that offers a power output of 11kW.
Key features include a 4.3-inch LCD for the base model and a large 6.8-inch TFT instrument cluster with proximity unlock with Ola’s latest MoveOS5, the electric bike will offer three riding modes – Eco, Normal, and Sports and will offer several AI-powered features. The bike will offer turn-by-turn navigation with cruise control. More features include ABS, disc brakes on both front and rear, alloy wheels, telescopic front suspension and a monoshock rear suspension.
Ola Roadster
The mid-spec model, called Roadster will come with a price bump starting at Rs. 1,04,999 for the base 3kWh battery pack model, Rs. 1,19,999 for the mid 4.5kWh battery pack model, and Rs. 1,39,999 for the top-end 6kWh battery pack model.
Thanks to the price bump, the Roadster will offer more performance and range. It offers a peak power of 13kW from its electric motor, up to 248 Km of range and a top speed of 126 Km/h. As per the features list, the Roadster will offer similar features as its entry-level ‘Roadster X’ model but with enhanced performance and drive quality.
Ola Roadster Pro
Ola Electric’s top-of-the-line Roadster Pro is the top-spec model in the lineup. It will start at ₹2,00,000 for the base 8kWh battery pack and go up to ₹2,50,000 for the massive 16kWh battery pack model. It will offer more thrill and joy with its 194 km/h top speed, an acceleration time from 0-60 in under 1.9 seconds and will deliver a claimed range of up to 579 on a single charge. The Pro model will also offer a new upgraded electric motor that offers a peak 52kW of power and a peak torque of 105 Nm.
The Roadster Pro will pack a large 10-inch TFT display with four riding modes – Eco, Normal, Sport, and Hyper with two custom modes. The electric bike features a steel-constructed body, with upside-down front forks and rear monoshock suspension. It will also offer both front and rear disc brakes with ABS.
