Kia has finally revealed its new EV6 Facelift, India launch is set to happen in 2025
The updated Kia EV6 facelift has been revealed in South Korea, offering both breathtaking design and more performance underneath. It features a new exterior look and a new luxurious interior with more tech and everything stepped up from the last gen EV6 electric car. The facelifted EV6 offers significant upgrades in terms of looks, performance, and comfort while keeping the base mechanical the same. The 2025 Kia EV6 Facelift is set to launch in India in early 2025 via the CBU route.
Exterior Updates
The mid-cycle refresh introduces a brand-new front fascia with sleeker LED headlamps and LED DRLs inspired by the EV9 e-SUV. The car also shows the influence of the EV3 and EV4 concepts with its appeal. It features a new revised front grille with an updated bumper and refreshed overall looks. The new EV6 now rides on a new set of silver and black alloy wheels, making it more appealing and grippy tyres for better agility on roads. At the rear, the Facelifted EV6 features its distinctive full-length LED light bar making it among the most unique and appealing taillights in the EV industry.
Interior Enhancements
The 2025 Kia EV6 Facelift boasts several interior upgrades, making it among the most comfortable and luxurious EVs. New upgrades include a redesigned curved panoramic screen that houses the 12.3-inch digital instrument console and the 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display. It features a new two-spoke steering wheel along with a fingerprint reader that allows registered drivers to start the EV without any key required.
Other notable additions in the EV6 Facelift include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility along with OTA updates, a revised HUD system and a digital rearview mirror. Kia has also offered a new augmented reality navigation tech that uses front camera graphic overlays to offer a more immersive view, similar to many Genesis cars.
Performance and Battery
The 2025 Kia EV6 Facelift now packs a new 84 kWh battery, replacing the old 77.4 kWh battery pack that adds 19 km more range to the car. The EV6’s RWD variant now delivers a claimed range of 494 Km on a single charge. The EV also supports 350 kW DC fast charging that can juice it up from 0-80% of charge in just 18 minutes.
India Launch and Availability
The EV6 facelift will go on sale in Korea next month, while the India launch is anticipated in early 2025. Kia has also added several enhancements that improves overall safety with strengthened chassis and new frequency-selective dampers, delivering a smooth riding experience .
