The 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 launched with a new colour option

Hyundai India has announced new exterior and interior paint schemes for its flagship Ioniq 5 electric car. For MY24, the new Ioniq 5 will be available in Gravity Gold Matte, Titan Grey, Midnight Black Pearl and Optic White colour schemes. It will also be available in two interior colour options: Dark Pebble Grey and Obsidian Black.

The Ioniq 5 was showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo with its grand stance. It is built on the new E-GMP skateboard platform and has achieved incredible acclaim for its features and gorgeous design. The EV is directly imported to India via the CBU route. Hyundai has priced the Iioniq 5 EV ar Rs 46 Lakh (Ex-showroom) for the base RWD variant with a single motor.

It packs a large 72.6 kWh battery that offers a staggering range of 631 Km on a single charge. Powered by both single and dual electric motors, the Ioniq 5 produces an output of 320 hp and 605 Nm of torque. The car supports the latest architecture and offers 350 kW DC fast charging support that can charge it from 10-80% in just 18 minutes.

As for the features, the Ioniq 5 offers an array of modern-day features with some of the most highly sophisticated tech. It packs two 12.3-inch displays, one for the driver and another for the digital infotainment. The car comes with ADAS, dual-zone automatic climate control, ventilated and heated seat functionality, navigation and loads of other connectivity features making it stand out from the competition.

Hyundai has initiated bookings for the new 2024 Ioniq 5 with a token amount of Rs. 1 Lakh via its Direct to Customer portal. Hyundai India COO, Tarun Garg expressed a great sense of pride with their vehicle, offering both futuristic design and tech blended with retro-modern appeal. The EV has set new standards for the electric mobility segment, especially in India, achieving many recognitions and accolades.

Talking about sales figures, Hyundai India has sold 1,400 units of its flagship Ioniq 5 electric car in India and projects to attract more premium customers with this new exciting colour variant. The newly launched Ioniq 5 N performance model has already set new benchmarks for the industry, achieving several awards globally.
