Greaves Electric Announces Price Cut for Its Ampere E-Scooters

Geaves Electric is offering a discount of Rs 10,000 on its Ampere Electric Scooters

Greaves Electric Mobility Private Limited (GEMPL), the subsidiary of Greaves Cotton Limited has announced a significant price cut for its Ampere electric scooters. Ampere’s Reo Li Plus, Magnus EX, and Magnus LT electric scooter will now offered at a discounted price of Rs 10,000. New Reo Li Plus starts at Rs. 59,999, the Magnus LT starts at Rs. 84,900 while the Magnus EX starts at Rs. 94,000 (all prices Ex-showroom). The recently launched Magnus EX is still among the best-selling electric scooters in Ampere’s lineup.

Last month, GEMPL launched the Ampere Nexus scooter, adding to its lineup of electric scooters. The new Nexus is the company’s most premium electric scooter. It features a stunning design and incredible specifications that go on par with competitors from Ola, Ather, TVS, and Baja.

The newly launched Ampere Nexus EX features a large 3kWh LFP battery, capable of delivering a range of 136 Km on a single charge. Ampere’s new LFP chemistry makes it 1.3x more durable and offers better thermal control to help it achieve incredible range figures. The Nexus EX takes about 3 hours and 22 minutes to charge it from 0-100%.

The electric scooter packs a hub electric motor with a peak power output of 4kW. It comes with different ride modes – Eco, City, Power, and Limp Home and delivers a top speed of 42 Km/h in Eco Mode, 63 Km/h in City Mode, and 93 km/h in Power Mode.

These introductory prices will increase by ₹10,000 after the introductory period ends. Bookings for the new Nexus models have been open since last month with deliveries scheduled to begin in the second half of May.
